ABOUT WHISK AND TELL
Hi! My name is Lisa and I am the girl behind Whisk and Tell.
Whisk and Tell is where I share experiences from my test kitchen: discovering new ingredients, recreating favorite recipes, and sampling new kitchen gadgets. In each recipe, I unveil my secret ingredient that either boosts the flavor or helps cuts the calories without sacrificing any taste. Each week, I develop a new experiment on a whim to try out. I love to find inspiration from hole-in-the-wall places to five star restaurants locally and abroad.
I anticipate some great discoveries (and some minor mishaps which I call “fallen souffles”). In the end, you will know whether or not its worth trying, buying, eating and indulging. I’m happiest in the kitchen; and together, let’s never waste a meal!

TASTE: bold (aka stinky) cheeses, (all) gelato, buttery dosas
SIGHT: ombre-roasted marshmallows, bento boxes
TOUCH: flaky croissants, cracking pistachios, crumbled meringue
SMELL: pink grapefruits, Texas BBQ pits, coconut-laced vacation air
SOUND: uncorking a wine bottle, slurping ramen
